LAAC PHOTO CONTEST FUND RAISER - Juried by Todd and Brad Reed.

For every $15, you are allowed to enter three separate images. You can enter as many images as you would like in quantities of three. All proceeds go to the Ludington Area Arts Council as a fund raiser.

Prizes: There will be a $200 gift certificate to Todd & Brad Reed Photography for the grand prize winning photo. There will be a $150 gift certificate for second place. There will be a $100 gift certificate for third place and there will be a $50 gift certificate for fourth place. There will be four separate winners for each of the gift certificates. Todd & Brad Reed Photography will print, matte, and frame a 14 inch print of the grand prize winning photo and it will be on display at the new Ludington Area Center for the Arts for a year!

Scarecrows on Parade 2008

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2008 SCARECROWS ON PARADE IS NOW BEING ACCEPTED AT THE LUDINGTON & SCOTTVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Ludington & Scottville Chamber of Commerce and the Arts Council are happy to announce that registration for the 2008 Scarecrows on Parade is now being accepted at the Chamber of Commerce. Scarecrows on Parade will begin on Saturday, October 4 and will continue until Saturday, November 4.

For those who are interested in participating, all scarecrows need to be weatherproof and appropriate in theme for a public display. Otherwise the sky is the limit with regard to ideas, structure and materials.

Scarecrows on Parade will not be a judged contest this year, since we will be busy this fall establishing the new Center for the Arts. Participants are still encouraged to register so that a list of the participants can be created for residents & visitors alike to visit.
